Directions from Galway

Take the N18 from Galway signposted Limerick
Turn right in Kilcolgan onto the N67 signposted Ballyvaughan
Coming to Doolin from Ballyvaughan you have 2 options, you can take the coast road or you can drive via Lisdoonvarna.  The coast road is about 9 miles longer, but it is a beautiful drive, as you get to see the Burren, the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher ahead of you, so I would recommend that route.  I will give you directions for both options:
Coast Road: Turn right at the T-junction in Ballyvaughan towards Fanore.  There is only one road along the coast, so just follow it around to Ballinalacken Castle.  At the junction here, take the right turn.  Take care here, as there are a few nasty bends on this road.  About 3 miles down the road you will pass the Catholic Church on the left-hand side.  Continue on down the hill, we are the third house on the right hand side - painted cream and blue.
Lisdoonvarna: Turn left at the T-junction in Ballyvaughan towards Lisdoonvarna.  En route there is a section called Corkscrew Hill, which is a series of hairpin bends.  At the top of the hill, there is a large viewing area, which gives a fantastic panoramic view of the Burren landscape.  Once you reach the square in Lisdoonvarna, take a turn to the right and at the next junction take another right turn for Doolin, and then an almost immediate left turn.  This road will take you to the church in Doolin, where you will turn left towards the village.  Continue on down the hill, we are the third house on the right hand side - painted cream and blue.
